Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model American actor. Shooting to fame for his roles as a character in Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. He has also appeared in more than 22 television series like Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma around age 14, and has battled this disease since. The cancer returned to remission two years later. Being treated at such a young time had negative effects on his body. It hampered his development. When he started taking on the role of an actor, financial security was his aim. He was a victim of the poverty of his youth. After living so modestly over the years I need this financial security. Otherwise the world seems out of my control. In addition, when he thinks back to his own youth and his desire to make a difference in the issue of bullying. The cruelty inflicted on him hurts him to the core. DJ's dream role would be to become a father on reel and in reality. But, he admits that directors don't usually cast him for those types of jobs. In the future, he'd love to have a kid in order to be able to dedicate less time on his career to more attention to the baby.
